Join us for Serve Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Resurrection Brookside. Our church kitchen helps prepare nearly 50,000 meals each year for people experiencing food insecurity—from our unhoused neighbors and families to homebound seniors. Through our meal ministry, our kitchen is one of the ways we live out our call to Love One Another.

But all that good work takes a toll on the kitchen—and now it needs a little love, too!

Join us at Resurrection Brookside for a morning of deep cleaning and organizing our kitchen spaces. From organizing drawers and wiping down cabinets to deep cleaning appliances and tackling those areas that don't get regular attention, we'll give our kitchen a much-needed refresh.

We're looking for volunteers to bring some elbow grease to refresh the space that cares for so many people in our community.

Come ready to work, have some fun, and ensure our kitchen continues to serve Kansas City!
